Yvette Elaine (Lecours) Capobianco
82 passed away peacefully on August 15, 2025 at Apple Rehab in East Haven surrounded by her loving family after a lengthy battle with dementia.
Born in New Hampshire on February 20, 1943. Yvette lived a life marked by devotion-to her community. A proud and devout Christian, she carried her beliefs with grace and strength throughout her life.
For 25 years, Yvette worked as a waitress at Henry's Restaurant in North Haven. Her dedication to her work and the relationships she built with patrons and coworkers alike left a lasting impression. She retired in 2006 to care for her loving husband, leaving behind not just a job but a legacy of warmth and service.
Yvette found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was an avid quilter whose hands were rarely still always stitching love into every piece she created. Her kitchen was often filled with comforting aromas of home-cooked meals and baked goods, lovingly prepared for those around her.
She also enjoyed reading, playing bingo and cards often sharing laughter and camaraderie at East Haven Senior Center where she spent many cherished hours.
She is lovingly remembered by her children: Ralph Nappe, Krisanna (LaHaye) Viglione, and Jamie Nappe.
Her sister Eva Bialecki and brother-in-law Stanley Bialecki. As well as brothers Roger Lecours and Ronnie Lecours of Vt.
And numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, Aunts and Uncles.
Yvette was predeceased by her beloved husband Vincent Capobianco; Sons Michael Nappe and Edward Nappe and her parents Gaston and Gertrude Lecours.
A graveside service will be will be held on August 19, 2025 at All Saints Cemetery 700 Middletown Ave North Haven at 11:00 am under the direction of the Celentano Funeral Home New Haven, CT
