Sarah (Dodd) Pace Obituary

Sarah Pace was born September 5, 1942 in Fargo, North Dakota to Alberta and Dr. Robert K. Dodd.

She went to Holy Rosary Catholic School in Evansville, Indiana for Elementary School and then attended Reitz Memorial High School where graduated from high school in 1960. Then she went onto Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana and received her BA in 1964. She then went on to the University of Kentucky in Louisville where she received her MA in Sociology in 1967. 

She was married to Carmen J. Pace on 4/22/1967. Carmen Pace passed on 12/11/2016. 

She was a middle school Geography teacher from 1989 and then retired in 2008. In 2001 she was awarded the Teacher of the Year. She loved her students and her students loved her as she would take them to may museums throughout CT to teach her students about the world. 

After she retired she spent most of her years traveling the world from Russia to Africa to Europe. She was an avid traveler and loved to share her adventures with others. 

She has one brother Timothy Dodd who passed before Sarah. She has one sister Kathleen Largent (Jim Largent) who reside in Bayfield, Colorado and one Brother Robert Dodd (Suzanne Dodd) who reside in Evansville, Indiana. And one daughter Megan Pace who resides in Cheshire, CT. 

In lieu of flowers a donation can me made to the organization Doctors without Borders an organization that Sarah was very fond of and did a lot of charity/volunteer work.
