Sr. Mary Jude Adams, 81, passed away in St. Mary’s Home, West Hartford January 30. 2019. Born in Grand Rapids Michigan, August 13, 1937, a daughter of the late George and Gladys Carlstrom Adams she was the youngest of three children. She lived in Minnesota after her family moved from Michigan. Sr. Mary Jude is survived by her sister. Audrey. Beside her parents she is predeceased by her brother George R. Adams. Sr. Mary Jude is also survived by many nieces and grand nieces and nephews. She entered the Congregation of Jesus Crucified, Regina Mundi in Devon, PA on November 12, 1960. She made her First Profession on May 31, 1963 and her Perpetual Profession on May 18, 1968. She was especially proud to complete  a special computer programing program at the University of Penn.
Friends may call at the Monastery of the Glorious Cross, 61 Burban Drive, Branford  Friday from 4 to 8 pm are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in the Monastery Chapel Saturday morning at 11:00. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Branford.
