Sofia Tsilfoglou Stardellis, 83, of New Haven passed away May 7, 2018 in the St. Raphael’s Campus of Yale New Haven Hospital. She was the wife of the late Dimitrios Stardellis. She was born in Thessaloniki, Greece March 10, 1935, daughter of the late Napoleon and Katerina Tsilfoglou.  During her lifetime, she lived on four continents, Greece, South Africa, Brazil and finally in America. She was a faithful member of St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church and the Ladies Philoptochos Society. She is survived by one son, John (Hellen) Stardellis of Orange; one daughter, Maria (Gregory) Hrampanis of East Haven; a brother, Vasilios Tsilfoglou in Greece; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was predeceased  a son,  Napoleon Stardellis, a brother, John Tsilfoglou and a grandson, Peter Hrampanis. “Forever in our Hearts, we love you always”

Friends may call at St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church, 480 Racebrook Road, Orange Thursday from 5 to 8 pm and are invited to attend funeral services in the church Friday morning at 10:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, North Haven.  Contributions may be made to St, Barbara Church Building Fund.
