Rosemarie DiNello Celentano, 89, widow of Michael J. Celentano of Orange passed away peacefully February 17, 2024 with her loving family by her side. She was born in New Haven October 27, 1934 a daughter of the late Pasquale and Michelina Palmieri DiNello. Most recently Mrs. Celentano enjoyed her time working with the Town of Orange, spending 17 years at the Health Club in the High Plains Community Center. Rosemarie is survived by her son Jeffrey (Vivian) Celentano and daughter Michele (Michael) Ramadei. Also survived by her brother Angelo DiNello, sister Gina(John) Oliano, grandchildren Alicia (Joseph) Picciotti, Michael (Jessica) and Anthony Ramadei; great grandchildren Bianca, Isabella, and Michael, as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Rosemarie was predeceased by brothers, Carl, Joseph, Nicholas, and Pat DiNello, and sisters, Emma Lembo, Margaret Brunetti, Mary Baiocchi, Julia Mastrangelo, and Blanche Porto.
Friends and family may call at the Celentano Funeral Home, 424 Elm St., New Haven, Thursday Feb. 22nd from 5-8 PM and are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Infant Church, 450 Racebrook Rd. Orange Friday Feb 23rd at 11:00 AM. Interment with her husband will follow in Orange Cemetery.
