Rene Roger Brouillard, 84, of New Haven, passed away on January 30, 2022, at Yale New Haven Hospital from Covid related complications. Rene was born July 8, 1937 in Orleans, Vermont, the son of Edonard and Roseanne (Theroux) Brouillard. He was a graduate of Notre Dame High School and Quinnipiac University, and the owner of the Carriage Shop in Branford for forty five years. Rene Roger Brouillard, 84, of New Haven, passed away on January 30, 2022, at Yale New Haven Hospital from Covid related complications. Rene was born July 8, 1937 in Orleans, Vermont, the son of Edonard and Roseanne (Theroux) Brouillard. He was a graduate of Notre Dame High School and Quinnipiac University, and the owner of the Carriage Shop in Branford for forty five years. Rene, beloved husband of Suzanne (Mott) Brouillard, was born to a family of eight siblings. He was predeceased by brothers, Leo-Paul, Lorenzo, Alfred and a sister Florette, and survived by a brother. Andre of Hilton Head, SC and sisters Louise Angeletti of Wallingford and Madeline Guido of North Haven. He is also survived by three sons, Claude of Farmington, Christian and Adam of New Haven, one grandchild, Clair Brouillard, and a special nephew Ronald Brouillard along with other beloved nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. Family and friends may go directly to St. Joseph Church, 129 Edwards St., New Haven for a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday February 14th at 10:00 AM. A private interment with his parents will take place in In Memoriam Cemetery, Wallingford. The Celentano Funeral Home is handling Mr. Brouillard’s arrangements.
