RICHARD E. IADAROLA Obituary

Richard E. Iadarola, 71, a resident of Southbury Training School for most of his life, passed away April 10, 2018. Born in New Haven on Jan. 21, 1947, he was the beloved son of the late Ralph T. and Lena Masi Iadarola. He is survived by his sister, Marie I. Fadus of Cheshire; eight nieces and nephews, 14 grandnieces and grandnephews as well as several cousins. He is also survived by his housemates, friends and staff at Southbury Training School, who, family that they are, treated him with respect, dignity, good humor and love. For this, his survivors are forever grateful. He was predeceased by his brother and sister in law, Judy (Dalton) and Ralph Iadarola Jr. and his brother in law, Richard F. Fadus. There will be no calling hours. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Thomas Becket Church, 435 N. Brooksvale Road, Cheshire Friday morning, April 13th at 10:00. Burial will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven.  Donations in Richard’s memory may be sent to Men & Staff, Southbury Training School, 36 Laurel Lane, Southbury, CT 06488.
