Patricia Ann Hunt

Patricia Ann Hunt, 69, passed away peacefully June 7, 2023 in CT Hospice. She was the wife of Abdullah Azumar. She was born in New Haven December 31, 1953 a daughter of the late Howard J. and Hazel D. Coney Hunt. Patty was a longtime resident , (23 yrs) of the Union School Apartments in West Haven, a faithful member for many years of Narcotics Anonymous, and worked in the Cottages at the original Hospice in Branford caring for patients suffering from AIDS in the 1980’s. Besides her husband she is survived by her son Louis (Ita) Barker III, granddaughter Adrian Barker, sister Gail (Hunt) Harvey of New Haven, brother Stephen (Marygrace) Hunt of Hamden and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
