Patricia A. Booth/Bouzoucos, 90, of Orange, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2022 at her home in Orange surrounded by her family. Mrs. Booth was born in Allentown, PA on Feb. 13, 1932, daughter of the late Ida and Samuel Woods and loving wife to the late Ted Booth/Bouzoucos for almost 50 years. Immediately after graduating high school, she moved to New York City to pursue a modeling career. After graduating from modeling school, she became a Ballroom Dance Teacher at The Arthur Murray Dance Studio. This launched her career as an instructor and professional dancer. She appeared weekly on the TV show The Arthur Murray Dance Party. Always regarded as very independent, confident and resilient she had an adventurous spirit and loved to travel the world. She also enjoyed frequent day trips to NYC for lunch and Broadway shows with her friends. Pat could always bring a smile to your face with her kind and graceful nature. Her life passion was teaching everyone to dance and when she was not dancing, she was a skier and an avid tennis player who never really retired from the court. Pat leaves behind her daughter, Alexis, son in law, Chad and grandson Evan of Trumbull along with several nieces & nephews.
A private celebration in her memory is to be scheduled in January.
