Michael Marra, 72, of New Haven passed away peacefully October 21, 2024 after a brief illness. He was the loving husband of 47 years to Kathleen Speratore Marra. Michael was born in New Haven June 16, 1952 a son of the late Frank and Margaret Cunningham Marra. He was a manager of Ann Taylor for many years before working in the security department of Yale University. Michael was an avid hunter and member of the New Haven Sportsman's Club as well as being a skilled craftsman who made his own knives. He is survived by a brother Joseph Robert Murray (Meili): sisters, Alice Holmes (late Don), Lorie-Ann Pellegrino (Edward), Susan Marra-Spencer (William), Kelly Ann Bustos (Arsenio), and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides his parents Michael was predeceased by his brother Joseph Francis Marra.

Friends and family may call at the Celentano Funeral Home, 424 Elm St., New Haven Monday October 28th from 9:00 - 10:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Aedan Church, 112 Fountain St., New Haven at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
