Michael S. Cofrancesco Obituary

Michael S.Cofrancesco, 51, of East Haven passed away suddenly May 24, 2021 in Yale New Haven Hospital with his loving family by his side. Michael was the son of Annette DeCrosta Cofrancesco and then late George Cofrancesco. He was born in New Haven April 9, 1970 and received his Masters Degree from Quinnipiac University before moving on to teach at Holy Cross High School. Michael also was a bartender for various New Haven area restaurants. He loved sports and was a Pittsburg Steeler, North Carolina Tar Heels basketball, and avid Yankee fan who attended opening day every year. Besides his mother he is survived by his fiancé and love of 13 years, Michelle Bilides and his dear Aunt Marie Keppel.
Friends and family may call at the Celentano Funeral Home, 424 Elm St., New Haven Wednesday from 9:00 to 10:15 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Vincent de Paul Church, 80 Taylor Ave., East Haven at 11:00. A private interment will take place in East Lawn Cemetery where Michael will be laid to rest with his father.
