Mildred Marangell Sticco, 94, of Durham, NC, formerly of New Haven, passed away peacefully October 23, 2021. She was the widow of Peter Augustine Sticco whom she married November 28, 1951. Mildred was born in New Haven May 17, 1927 a daughter of the late Frank Marangell and Raffie Colonnese. She worked as a secretary for American Linen for many years until her retirement. Besides her husband she was predeceased by her son, Peter Alan Sticco; and her siblings Joseph, Patrick, Catherine, and Dominic Marangell, and Mary Marangell Wilson.  Millie is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may pay their respects at the Celentano Funeral Home, 424 Elm St., New Haven, CT Monday November 1st from 6:00-8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Aedan Church, 112 Fountain St., New Haven, CT Tuesday at 10:00 AM. Entombment will follow in the St. Lawrence Mausoleum.
