Maryann “Mae” Connolly Miranda, 69, formerly of Branford, entered into eternal rest on Sept. 26, 2016 in San Diego, CA. She was the beloved wife of Pasquale Miranda. Born in New Haven July 8, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Eleanor Connolly. Maryann grew up in Branford where she attended Branford Hall and Quinnipiac College, which is where she met her husband of 43 years. She had a successful career in the insurance business both in Connecticut and California. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially watching her two grandsons play baseball. Maryann was known for her beautiful smile and kindness to all. She will be forever missed by her family and friends.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Melissa (Eric) McDonald and grandchildren, Nathan and Asher McDonald, all of San Diego; her sister, Betsy White and brother, Paul (Jeanne) Connolly, all of Branford; as well as many other brothers in law and sisters in law, nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at St. Mary’s Church, 731 Main St., Branford on Saturday, Nov. 26th at 9:00 am.
