Mary Frank Morrone, 95, of New Haven, devoted wife, mother and grandmother, passed away January 24, 2018 in Whitney Manor, Hamden. She was the wife of the late Frank J. Morrone. Mrs. Morrone was born in Lynn, Mass. on Nov 16, 1922, daughter of the late John and Madeline Vrisayotis Frank (Frangis). She was a New Haven resident most of her life. She is survived by one son, Frank J. Morrone Jr. of New Haven; two daughters, Annette (Joseph) Sullivan of Orange and Mary Ann (James) Smith of Hamden; one brother, James Frank of Orange; three cherished grandchildren, Jennifer (Todd) Green, Melissa Smith and Joseph (Michelle) Sullivan Jr. and three great grandchildren, Shay and Bayley Green and Nikolas Sullivan and her son in law, Patrick Connor. She was predeceased by her daughter, Barbara Morrone Connor and her brother, Angelo Frank.

Friends are invited to attend funeral services in St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church, 480 Racebrook Road, Orange Saturday morning at 9:30 am. Interment will follow in Beaverdale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Barbara Church Building Fund.
