Lucille Maturo Zemke, 100, of Orange, beloved wife of the late Donald Zemke, Sr. passed away peacefully on November 23, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved mother of Diane (Joseph) Maisto of Cheshire, Patricia (Michael) Sciascia of Cheshire, Marianne (William) Delcos of North Branford and Donald Zemke Jr, of Hamden. Lucille is survived by 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and one great grandchild previously deceased.  Sister of Philomena Blakeslee of Orange and the late Frances Marchitto and Peggy Papa. Lucille was born on August 21, 1925, in New Haven, daughter of the late Charles and Immaculate DePonte Maturo. She was a devout Catholic and a long-standing parishioner of Holy Infant Church.

Lucille enjoyed her family and was proud of her role as mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She loved to cook and took joy in sharing that with her children. She liked traveling with her friends, embarking on many Senior Citizen trips. She loved to socialize and had many wonderful friends throughout her life.

Family and friends may call Monday morning December 1st, 2025, from 9:00 to 10:15 a.m. at Celentano Funeral Home, 424 Elm Street, New Haven. The funeral procession will leave at 10:30 a.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Holy Infant Church, Orange, at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
