LYUBA (Kovalchuk) SCHIANO

Lyuba Kovalchuk Schiano, 68, of Orange, CT passed away July 14, 2021 in Ukraine after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Cristoforo Schiano. Lyuba was born in Ukraine March 20, 1953. She was an insurance processor for the Knights of Columbus and also owned and operated Lisiano’s Restaurant for many years with her husband until their retirement. Besides her husband Lyuba was also predeceased by her beloved daughter Marianka (Maryanne) Romanytch. She is survived by her dear friend Mary Antonyshyn and many other friends here in the New Haven area.
A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church, 569 George St., New Haven Tuesday at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow with her husband and daughter in St. Lawrence Cemetery. The Celentano Funeral Home is caring for her arrangements.
