Katherine L. Turcio, age 100, of New Haven passed away Dec. 2, 2017 in Whitney Manor Rehab., Hamden. Born in New Haven Jan. 28, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Maria Celentano Turcio. Prior to her retirement, she was a head teller at the former First Bank. She is survived by two nephews, Michael Boccamaiello and David Cipollini and three nieces, Donna Parmelee, Madelyn Turcio & Sandy Pompano. She was predeceased by four brothers, Anthony, Richard, Ralph and Thomas Turcio Jr. and two sisters, Margaret Turcio and Mary Boccamaiello.
Funeral from The Celentano Funeral Home, 424 Elm St. (cor. Dwight) New Haven Wednesday morning at 10:15. Mass in St. Bernadette’s Church, 385 Townsend Ave. at 11:00. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral from 9:15 to 10:15. Interment in St. Agnes Cemetery, Branford.
