Jordanis K. Sidiropoulos

Jordanis Kosmas Sidiropoulos, 90, passed away peacefully at home in New Haven October 17, 2022 after celebrating his 90th birthday with his family by his side.  He was born in Kallithea, Athens, Greece October 16, 1932 son of the late Maria (Avramidou) and Kosmas Sidiropoulos. He worked as a tool and die maker for High Precision until his retirement in 2009 at the age of 76. He emigrated to Brazil from Greece in 1951 where he married Irene in 1958. He was a machine worker for Wiily’s Corp. in San Paulo until he moved to the USA in 1960. He worked for the Geometric Tool Corp and continued raising his children. He married Sophia in 1979 and had another son. He survived by by his sons Adriano, Theodore, Nicholas, and Samson, his sister Kyriaki, nephew John, niece Maria, grandchildren Jenna, Christopher, Teddy Jr., Nicole, Rachel, and Catherine, and great grandchildren Emma and Ellie. He also was the brother of the late Theodore and Athanasios Sidiropoulos.  He enjoyed his family and grandchildren for his remaining years. He will be missed.
Friends and family may pay their respects at St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church, 480 Racebrook Rd. Orange Sunday from 4-7 PM. Funeral Services will be held Monday at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in Beaverdale Memorial Park. The Celentano Funeral Home is caring for the family.
