Jim, I am so sorry for your loss! I k ow you were looking forward to your dad moving to Iowa to spend his last days with you and the kids. I am sad that you didn’t get that time together. I am certain your dad was a kind and loving human because you are such a kind and loving friend. I love you my dear friend. Lisa

James was such a lovely man and we will miss seeing him in church. He was always very kind to my family. He often talked about his years as a pilot when he was in the services. He had hoped to move closer to his son. James we will miss you at OLOA and we'll keep you in our prayers.

I am so sorry for the loss of Jim.  He was such a nice man. He helped me with my work way back in SNET. I think I met him once, but our contact was over the phone.  I worked in Marketing and had to place the orders for special circuits that Jim, and others, designed.  You can imagine their frustration with the likes of us!  Jim told me early on that he would help me, because he had worked with and respected my Dad.  I have his number in my Rolodex and I called him often while in that job.  We used to talk about many things, including work.  I can still hear his voice and his laugh all these years later.  Jim was someone that I would think about every now and then and hope he was well.  He was a gentleman, a good boy.  I shall miss him.  Rest in Peace with God, Jim Marenna.  Condolences to James and others he has left to grieve.  God Bless.
