Hilda Maud Samuels Cooke, 92, of Whalley Avenue, New Haven, passed away at her home on November 11, 2016. Mrs. Cooke was born in Jamaica on April 14, 1924. She was a long time New Haven resident and worked at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft prior to retirement. She was a parishioner of St. Martin dePorres Church for more than 50 years. Survivors include one son, Howard Wilson in Nevada; four daughters, Alice Stockton of Bloomfield, Patricia Jackson of Hamden, Barbara Browne of Prospect and Francine Williams in Florida; 14 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. She was predeceased by all of her siblings.

Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Martin dePorres Church, Dixwell and Webster, Saturday morning, Nov. 26th at 10:00 am. Wake prior to the funeral from 9:00 to 10:00 am in the church.
