HECTOR CRUZ, Jr. Obituary

Hector M. Cruz Jr., 49, of West Haven passed away Oct. 22, 2016 in The Connecticut Hospice, Branford. Hector was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on Sept. 4, 1969, son of Carmen Vasquez of New Haven and the late Hector Cruz Sr. Hector worked as a free lance hair stylist for many years. Besides his mother, he is survived by two brothers, Jose (Stacy) Latimer of Waterbury and Felix (Amy) Ortiz of Enfield; his partner of 20 years, Michael Harlan of North Haven; his close friend, Renee Cullen of West Haven and several nieces & nephews. At Hector’s request, no funeral service is planned.
