Gino Milani II, 66  passed away on December 7,2024 after a brief illness surrounded by his loving family.

Gino was born October 22, 1958 in New Haven, CT to the late Gino and Loreta Milani and grew up in West Haven. He graduated from Notre Dame High school and attended the University of Hartford before finishing his BS degree in mechanical engineering from the University of New Haven. He went on to complete his MBA at the Yale School of Management. His career focused in the areas of medical device design; marketing and strategic planning for such large companies as Tyco; Covidian; Medtronic and most recently ICU Medical. He had also taken a break from engineering and worked for the family tile business alongside his uncles and cousin as a tile mechanic just as his father had done. He took great pride in his work. While working full time he also renovated several properties. He had an exemplary work ethic.

His most important accomplishment and that which gave him the greatest joy was his family. He would do anything to keep them happy, healthy and safe. He was the ultimate Mr Fix It and could make or repair just about anything. In fact, if there was a tool you needed it was a safe bet Gino had at least two. He loved spending hours in his renovated basement work shop organizing it all. He was a passionate fly fisherman and looked forward to his yearly fly-fishing trips with his best friend Matt alongside other close friends. Together they fished some of the biggest rivers across the United States and Canada. 

He leaves behind his wife of 36 years Christine; treasured daughter Zhanna; sisters Anna-Maria and Angela; nephew Kurt Zikaras his wife Samantha and their daughters Lucy and Bria; brother-in-law John Necklas; godchildren Niko Koutromanis and Sophia Mihalakos. He was loved and will be greatly missed by many extended family, friends and colleagues.

Calling hours will be Thursday December 12th from 9am-12pm at St Barbara's Greek Orthodox Church followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 12 Noon..  In lieu of flowers donations may be made in
