Obituary
Frank George Amellin III, 67, died suddenly Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023 at his lifelong home in Westville. Mr. Amellin was the son of the late Frank G. Amellin II & Mary R. Ferino, born in New Haven, Jan. 16, 1955.
He was a highly skilled craftsman & gardener who continued to help with family projects right up to his passing. Amellin leaves behind his beloved daughters April Caplan, Mary Amellin & Emily Amellin, three grandchildren, Emma, Brucie & Niya, his sister Carolyn Chapman & the love of his life, Nancy Amellin.
Calling hours to pay respects to the family will be at Celentano Funeral Home, 424 Elm St, New Haven on Saturday, Jan. 21 at 11am-1pm. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers donations can be made to Columbus House, 586 Ella T. Grasso Blvd, New Haven, CT 06519 www.columbushouse.org
