Frank Robert Palmieri, 77, of East Haven, passed away peacefully in the USVA Medical Center December 23, 2020. He was the husband of Laura A Salzano Palmieri. Born in New Haven May 25, 1943 he was the son of Francesco and Elizabeth Onofrio Palmieri. Frank served proudly in the US Marine Corps and retired after working for the Town of East Haven. Besides his wife he is survived by his son Frank R. Palmieri Jr. and several nieces and nephews. Frank was predeceased by his six sisters, Vincenza Karpel, Mary Giordano, Jean Gilbert, Margaret Candelora, Gloria Palmieri, and Frances Howard.
Friends and family are invited to attend a funeral service Wednesday Dec. 30th at the Celentano Funeral Home, 424 Elm St. New Haven at 1:30 PM and may call from 12:30–1:30. Interment with full military honors will follow in Evergreen Cemetery where Frank will be laid to rest with his parents and sisters. Please omit flowers.
