Francis J. “Frank” Galasso, 66, of Hamden passed away peacefully on April 2, 2017 at Regency House, Wallingford. Frank was born in New Haven on Aug. 25, 1950, son of the late Louis and Elise Laoue Galasso. Prior to his illness, he was a printer at the William J. Mack Co. in North Haven and the Advocate Press in New Haven.  He was an avid fisherman, loved the beach and working on cars, playing card games and spending time with his family. He enjoyed watching football and was a devoted Red Sox fan.

Frank is survived by his beloved wife, Kathy Galasso of Hamden; son Glenn of Wallingford; a brother, Joseph (Pamela) Galasso of Cheshire; three sisters, Louise (Shraga) Danishevsky of Hamden, Elise (William) DeMayo of East Haven and Catherine (Todd) Galasso-Vigorito of Clinton;  He is the step father to Robin Richardson of Wallingford. Frank is also survived by a grandson, Glenn Jr., five step grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a step son, Erik McMenamin.

There will be no calling hours. Friends are invited to attend a graveside service in St. Lawrence Cemetery, 280 Derby Ave., West Haven Friday, April 7 at 11:00 am.
