Elizabeth (Betty) Jenkins entered into rest at the age of 95 on December 31, 2016 in Santa Rosa, CA.  She was born on October 4, 1921 to Mildred and Alfred Koenigsberg of New Haven, CT.   Betty is survived by her daughters, Chery Quist and Karen Algatt, son, Carl Quist, and numerous grandchildren and a great granddaughter.  After graduating from high school in New Haven, Betty married her first husband, Walter Quist, and lived for almost 60 years on Pease Road in Woodbridge, CT.  After Walter passed away, she married Richard Jenkins, who also predeceased her.   Betty was employed as Parish Secretary at Christ Church, New Haven for more than 25 years, until she retired in 1986. In 2012 Betty moved to Mendocino County, CA to be with her daughter, Cheryl.  She resided at The Woods in Little River for more than three years, before moving to assisted living at Brush Creek Senior Living in Santa Rosa, CA in May. 

Family and friends are invited to the Funeral Service at 10 AM on Wednesday, January 11 at Christ Church, New Haven, followed by the burial at Eastside Burying Ground in Woodbridge.   Those wishing to pay their respects prior to service time may do so at Celentano Funeral Home commencing at 5 PM on Tuesday, January 10.
