ELENE PAPPAS, 91, of New Haven, passed away peacefully in CT Hospice of Branford October 2, 2020 after a brief illness. A daughter of the late Peter and Katherine (Katina) Gergulis Pappas she was born in New Haven October 15, 1928. Ms. Pappas worked in her family’s restaurant for many years. Besides her parents Elene was predeceased by her brothers, Constantine and John Pappas and her sisters Mary Koines and Nina Pappas. She is survived by many dear friends and neighbors.
