Eileen Ciprano Gould, 95, of 88 Notch Hill Road, North Branford, passed away Jan. 13, 2017 in The Connecticut Hospice, Branford. She was the wife of the late Henry Gould. Mrs. Gould was born in Bridgeport on Dec. 16, 1921, daughter of the late P. Louis and Lena Marella Ciprano. Prior to her retirement, she was a practicing optometrist. She is survived by one son, Jonathan (Judith Solomon) Gould of Washington, D.C.; one daughter, Claudia Gould of New York City; two grandsons, Aaron and Ian Gould; one niece, Patricia Cawley of Guilford; two nephews, Michael Noon of La Jolla, CA and Peter Noon of San Diego, CA.;  Grand niece and grand nephews, Alison, Jason, Andrea & Daniel. She was predeceased by her sister, Jeanne Noon.

Funeral services will be held in The Celentano Funeral Home, 424 Elm St. (cor. Dwight) New Haven Tuesday morning at 11:00. Friends may call prior to the service from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
