Dalmazio (Dante) DeDominicis Obituary


 Dalmazio (Dante) DeDominicis, 90, of Cheshire died September 3, 2024. He
was born in Pratola Peligna, Italy on October 4th, 1933, the son  of Alfredo
DeDominicis and Vera Arpino. He immigrated to the U.S. at the age of 16,
graduating from the Hopkins School in New Haven in 1953 and later completing
his education at  Quinnipiac University . He went on to become partner in
the largest floorc overing wholesaler in the Northeast, Art-Ryte Inc. He wa
predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Clorinda, his granddaughter Bianca,
and  brother Mario. He is survived by his two daughters, Vera DeDominicis
and husband Joseph Gelsomino, and Luisa DeDominicis, three granddaughters,
Veronica, Madalen, and Teresa, great granddaughter Lianna, brother Enzo,
and many nieces and nephews.
Dante was a beloved friend to so many and  actively served the community as
a member of the Amity Club for over 50 yrs and president of the Aldo
DeDominicis Foundation.
Mass service  and a celebration of his  life will be held at St Thomas
Beckett, 435 North Brooksvale Rd, Cheshire CT on September 14th at 12 noon.
The Celentano Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
