Predeceased by his wife Lee and daughter Lisa and brothers Sonny, Chucky and sisters Peggy and Mary. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was a Army Veteran who served in the Korean War as a cook. He had the privilege to cook a Thanksgiving dinner for General Eisenhower. His pleasure was being with his family and friends and cooking his famous sauce and meatballs and building birdhouse for them.
The past 2 years he has been a resident at Seacrest Retirement Center. We would like to thank from the bottom of our hearts to the entire staff for taking such good care of him and making it his home. He developed a special bond with Louis which he considered him to be his third grandson who took such good care of his Poppy. Who ever met Papa Corky fell in love with him instantly.
