Constantine G. “Gus” Moriatis, 85, of North Haven passed away May 26, 2017 in Masonicare, Wallingford. He was the husband of Eugenia Lysikatou Moriatis. Mr. Moriatis was born in Pagadi, Greece on April 22, 1932, son of the late George and Maria Moriatis. He has been in New Haven since 1975. He worked as a chef for the Hospital of St Raphael for a time, but is best known for his many years at The Pizza House at Howe St. and Edgewood Ave. in New Haven where he was affectionately known as “Pizza Man”. Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, George Moriatis and a daughter, Maria Moriatis, both of North Haven; two sisters, Panagiota Zorgias of West Haven and Antonia Kattis of North Haven; several nieces, nephews, great nieces & great nephews.

Friends may call at St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church, 480 Racebrook Road, Orange Tuesday from 5 to 8 pm and are invited to attend funeral services in the church Wednesday morning at 10:30.
