Charlemagne Akilotan of 11 Ramsdell St. New Haven, CT went home to be with the lord on Feb. 25, 2019 while at Yale New Haven Hospital. Born in West Africa on May 1, 1973, he was the son of Roch Ogoubi Akilotan and Marie-Yvonne Bouraima. He is survived by his beloved wife Edith Carrena Akilotan and five children: Miguel Sorel Nonossi, Shayanah Akilotan, Indira Star Emerald Akilotan, Maya Yabo Akilotan, and Destiny Nevaeah Rhada Akilotan and seven grandchildren. He is also survived by five siblings. Charlemagne is survived by many family and friends and was loved by all.

Memorial services will be held at the Celentano Funeral Home on Feb. 28, 2019 at 9:30 am to 12:00 pm. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven CT at 12:00 pm.
