Angel Manuel Robles Rivera

Angel Manuel Robles Rivera, 83 of East Haven, CT passed away peacefully sorrounded by his loving family members on August 19, 2023. He was born on October 31, 1939 in Anasco, Puerto Rico to Ramona Robles and Gabino Rivera. Angel was known by his family and friends as “Angel el Cojo”. He lived most of his life in Barrio Playa in Anasco Puerto Rico where he met the love of his life Francisca Cabasquini Acosta. Angel is survived by his three loving children, Angel Robles (Monna) of Tampa, FL., Antonio Robles (Idiss) of East Haven, CT and Catalina Robles of New Haven, CT along with his 9 grandchildren that he adored, Deshawn, Mailenne, Angel, Antonio, Talina, Delilah, Makayla, Alina and Novaa. He is also survived by three brothers, Antonio Rodriguez, Francisco Rodriguez, Enrique Vigo and his sister Enid Mildred Rivera Robles and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Ramona Robles & Gavino Rivera and two siblings, Carlos Rivera Robles and Ana Rivera Robles.

Angel was a very happy and loving family men. He retired as a mail clerk from Centro Gubernamental de Mayaguez, in Puerto Rico. 

Family will receive friends on Monday Aug 21, 2023 from 6pm to 8pm and Tuesday August 22, 2023 from 10am to Noon at the Celentano Funeral Home 424 Elm Street, New Haven, CT. Graveside services following at St. Bernard Cemetary on Ella T. Grasso Blvd., New Haven, CT.
