Andres Aviles, 64, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2023, in his home with his family after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Andres was born on May 11, 1959, in Ponce, Puerto Rico. He leaves behind a wife, Emilia Aviles of 50 years.
He is survived by his 4 children, 1 Son-in Law, 1 Daughter-in-Law, 10 grandchildren, and 2 great-granddaughters: Andres Aviles III, Angel Luis Aviles, Jeimy Aviles, Evelyn Aviles-DeJesus, Jerson DeJesus, Christina Marie Aviles, Sabrina M. Aviles, Andres A. Aviles, Priscilla Aviles, Krystalys A. Golding, Angel Aviles Jr., Kiersten A. Aviles, Jerson DeJesus II, Aidan DeJesus, Ellie DeJesus, Dessie DeJesus, Ayianalis R. Flores and Katielynn M. Flores.
Andres was a United States Air Force Veteran and had a long successful career as a Drug Enforcement Agent for the U.S Department of Justice. He earned many awards and certificates as a result of his hard work and dedication to his craft.
His family was his pride and joy, the most important of his accomplishments. Andres had many titles, but his favorite role was Grandpa. He loved his grandchildren dearly.
Andres fought his battle with Alzheimer’s disease for 10 years, with the last 3 years being the most difficult. There were ups and downs and through it all, he remained a soldier! He made an impact on everyone he met and was a man of honor with a kind, loving heart.
