Albert “Dee Dee” Bishop, 84 of North Haven, CT passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2022.  Born in New Haven on October 13, 1938, he was the son of the late Albert Bishop, Sr and  Augusta Benford Bishop and the husband of the late Celestine I. Bishop. He leaves behind, to honor his memory, his two children, Cherae and Chad Bishop, daughter-in-law, Kimberly Bishop, two grandchildren, Peyton N. Bishop and Paige C. Bishop, and numerous friends, family, and loved ones.  Prior to his retirement, Al worked as a police officer for over 25 years.  He was a member of St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening, traveling, and “having a good time.”

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian burial at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 136 Dixwell Avenue (corner of Webster Street) on Thursday, November 10, 2022.  Viewing prior to the Mass is from 10 to 11.  Interment will immediately follow at All Saints Cemetery, The Celentano Funeral Home is caring for the family.
