Adrian Walter Lodynsky Obituary

Adrian Walter Lodynsky, 67, passed away peacefully April 17, 2025 in Yale New Haven Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Helen (Halia) Jurczak Lodynsky. Adrian was born in New Haven May 16, 1957 son of the late Walter and Nadia Koshak Lodynsky. He was a graduate of Notre Dame High School and Southern CT State College then moved on to work for the Regional Water Authority for almost 40 years, a job which he loved. Adrian was proud to teach Ukrainian Ridna school, was a member of Plast, coached Little League, and was an avid boxer and Black Belt in Tangsoodo. He also loved sports, music, the outdoors, and playing his guitar. He was the devoted father of Alexandra, Andre, and Aedan Lodynsky, brother of Peter Lodynsky and family, and is also survived by a large extended family.
  A visitation will be held in the Celentano Funeral Home, 424 Elm St., New Haven Tuesday from 5-8 PM. A Panikhida Service will be held at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church 569 George St., New Haven Wednesday at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
