Antoneta Cocca “Toni” DeAngelis of 200 Leeder Hill Drive, Hamden passed away June 6, 2017. She was the beloved wife of the late Daniel DeAngelis and was a former resident of Alston Avenue, New Haven. Mrs. DeAngelis was born in Chelsea, Mass., daughter of the late Joseph F. and Raphaela Pote Cocca. She was a familiar face at her late husband’s restaurants, The Old Heidelberg in the Hotel Duncan on Chapel St. in New Haven and at The Inn at Cornfield Point in Old Saybrook. She is survived by two daughters, Dr. Lisa Marie DeAngelis of New York City and Laura DeAngelis Smith of Austin, TX. She was predeceased by a daughter, Judith Ann DeAngelis and four sisters, Vivienne Reilly, Grace Manente, Etta J. and Jeannette Cocca.
Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Aedan’s Church, 112 Fountain St., New Haven Monday morning at 10:00. Interment in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
