Born to Maria and Pasquale DiBianco, Anita grew up in New Haven attending St. Anthony’s School and Hillhouse High.  She worked at Kresge’s Department Store before moving onto banking.  In 1957 Anita married Joseph Fernino and raised 3 children.  She later became a grandmother who the kids named Meme.  With much love and devotion, Anita always put family first.  Small in size but tough, she would always watch over her kids and not take anything from anyone.  That’s our mom!!!

Friends and family may pay their respects to Anita and her family,  Friday, May 28th from 5-7 pm at  Celentano Funeral Home, 424 Elm St., New Haven.
