Agnes Susan “Dolly” (Luciani) DeFilippo, 97, of Woodbridge passed away on January 12, 2018 at Brookdale Senior Living, Woodbridge. She was the wife of the late Derby HS football coach Louis P. DeFilippo, Sr. Born in West Haven on June 16, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Ettore and Lena (Longo) Luciani. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Mary Lou DeFilippo of Jamesport, NY and son Thomas P. DeFilippo, Sr. of Bethany. Mary Lou’s family includes daughter-in-law Toni Lynn Anthony of West Milford, NJ and her two children Madison and Phoenix; daughter Kerry (Gabriel) Masaracchia of Lake Grove, NY and her daughter Emma; son Christopher (Jennifer) DeFilippo of Ronkonkoma, NY and his two sons Sean and Christopher John Edward “CJ”; and son Daniel DeFilippo of Laurel Hollow, NY. Thomas’s family includes daughter Diana (Timothy) O’Rourke of Naugatuck and her four children Bronagh, Kateri, Josephine, and Brogan; daughter Dana (Joshua) Miller of Tampa, FL; and son Thomas (Caitlin) DeFilippo of New York, NY. She is also survived by her brother Lawrence Luciani of Woodbridge. She was predeceased by her son, Louis P. DeFilipppo, Jr., her grandson Kenneth DeFilippo, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren lost to miscarriages. She was also predeceased by her siblings Rosalynda, Vito, Adolph, Emidio “Midge”, Rose D’Antonio, Guerino “Goodie”, Alexander “Sonny”, Ettore “Sheik”, Raymond, and Robert Luciani. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Center Road, Woodbridge at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven.
