Clare Ansaldo Intelisano, 93, of 707 Mix Ave., Hamden, formerly of Marlin Drive, North Haven, passed away Oct. 21, 2011 in St. Raphael's Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Leonard Intelisano Jr. Mrs. Intelisano was born in New Haven May 22, 1918, daughter of the late Nunzio and Maria Madalena Celentano Ansaldo. She attended Columbus School on Wooster Square, Noble and Washington School in West Haven and West Haven High School. She worked at New Haven Quilt & Pad Co., Chase Brass in Waterbury on Army ordinance during wartime, and was office manager for Intelisano Construction Co. She is survived by one son, Leonard L. (Barbara) Intelisano of Crockett, TX.; one daughter, Maria Mullally of Hamden; a sister, Carmela Gabriele of East Haven; four grandchildren, Tracy M. Billeb, Kelly V. D'Ambrosio, Megan Mullally DeAssuncao and Mark Mullally Jr.; and two great grandchildren, Dante and Nico D'Ambrosio. She was predeceased by four brothers, Louis, Anthony, Joseph J. and N. Alfred Ansaldo Jr.; three sisters, Nancy Higley, Rose DellaSpina and Maria Ansaldo; and a grandson, Leonard W. Intelisano. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthony's Church, 70 Washington Ave., Tuesday, Oct. 25th at 10:00. Interment in All Saints Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Indian School, Chamberlain, So. Dakota 57326 or First Christian Church Youth Center, 200 Garden Ave., Crockett, TX. 75835

Len and Maria and family,
We were saddened to hear of the passing of your mother, Clare. We are sorry we can't make the services but wanted you to know we are thinking of you this day and pray your wonderful memories of her will ease your hearts. Love to all, and God bless.

I am so sorry that Aunt Clare has passed away. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone. I wish we could have been there but we loved every minute we had with her and the family.
