Gus Kardaras, 75, of Guilford passed away peacefully on Nov. 19, 2014 in The Connecticut Hospice, Branford surrounded by his family. To the family, I wish to offer my condolences for your loss. I know that the pain of losing a loved one in death is like no other pain we ever experience and is the most difficult thing to get through. May you find comfort and have faith in God’s promise of an earthly paradise where even death will no longer exist. That promise is found at Revelation 21:4, 5 which reads “And he [God} will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.” As wonderful as it is that mourning, outcry and pain will be no more, God’s promise even includes doing away with mankind‘s ultimate enemy - death. “And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing.“ 1 Corinthians 15:26

I would like to pass my sincere condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Kardaras.

Mr. Gus Kardaras worked with my father, D.J. van Eck, at the ITT Corporation in the eighties.

I had the opportunity to work with Mr. Kardaras, the last five years, on a regular basis, and experienced his warm and friendly personality.
