Santina Scilipote, 94 of Campbell Ave., West Haven passed away Feb. 5, 2014 in The Connecticut Hospice, Branford. Born in New Haven Sept. 23, 1919, she was the daughter of the late John and Frances Buonazinga Scilipote. Prior to her retirement, she was a machine operator for Sargent & Co. She was a devoted aunt to many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews and great great nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Frank and James (Jack) Scilipote and three sisters, Josephine Sidera, Dominica “Minnie” Mongillo and Antoinette Vitelli. The family would like to thank the staff at The CT. Hospice for their excellent care.

Funeral from The Celentano Funeral Home, 424 Elm St. (cor. Dwight) New Haven Saturday morning at 10:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. John Vianney Church at 11:00. Friends may call at the funeral home prior to the funeral from 9:00 to 10:15 am. Interment in St. Lawrence Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The CT. Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT. 06405

So sorry about the loss of your sweet Aunt Sant"!! I'll always remember her smilling face and kind ways--I know she'll be sorely missed by her friends and family! May she rest in peace!

Aunt Sant we will all miss you very much. You were so wonderful and generous to all of your nieces and nephews. We love you very very much.
