Elizabeth Cari Oliva, 84, of 78 Clifford St., Hamden passed away on July 3, 2013 in Regency House, Wallingford. She was the wife of the late Joseph Oliva. Born in New Haven on April 6, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Philomena Fusco Cari. She worked as a cosmetic saleswoman for the former Edw. Malley Co. She is survived by a son, Anthony Oliva; a daughter, Christine Oliva; a sister, Shirley (Jimmy) Dowd; sister in law, Peggy Cari; two grandchildren, Gabrielle & Sophia; and several nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Bobby Oliva and two brothers, Thomas Cari and Anthony Cari Jr. Funeral services and interment are under the direction of The Celentano Funeral Home, 424 Elm St., New Haven and will be private. Contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 5025, Wallingford, CT 06492.

I am so sorry for the loss of such a loving and beautiful lady; inside and out.

She loved her family so very much!

She will be missed by all of the many lives that she touched. She was truly a blessing to all that knew her.
