Ursula Margaret Kinch, 74, formerly of New Haven passed away July 21, 2011 after a lengthy illness. She was the widow of Wallace E. Kinch. Mrs. Kinch was born in New Haven May 2, 1937, daughter of the late Walter A. Franklin Sr. and Ursula M. White Franklin. She worked for Carabetta, Inc. until her retirement in 1995. Prior to that, she worked for Quality Binding for six years. Mrs. Kinch enjoyed singing spiritual hymns and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by two daughters, Ursula (Harold) Stevenson of East Haven and Judith Kinch (Michael) of New Haven; two brothers, Walter Franklin Jr. and Gerard Franklin, both of New Haven; three sisters, Patricia Broadbent & Joyce Franklin, both of Las Vegas and DelRita Franklin of New Haven; 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by two daughters, Claudette Walton and Estelle Ellis; a sister, Judith Mayhew; and two grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held in the Christian Tabernacle Baptist Church, 449 Newhall St. Wednesday, July 27th at 11:00 with Rev. Keith King officiating. Friends may call prior to the service from 9 to 11 AM. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery.
