I wish to add my condolences to Robert's family. I realize quite some time has passed however I had the good fortune of working with Robert when he was architect on the Federal Detention Center in Miami. I worked for the DOJ at the time and found Robert to be a very competent and wise man. He was straight-forward and caring about his work as well as his reputation. I am sorry for your loss. With respect, Dan Piper

I am deeply saddened to learn of Robert's untimely passing. Robert was a good friend to me for many years, and we lost touch about a decade ago.
I decided to google him to try to reconnect over the holidays, and was shocked to find his obituary.
I will always remember Robert from our days at Murphy Jahn and beyond. We worked together in NY, then both moved to FL. Robert was a loyal friend who made every gathering more interesting by just being a part of it. My favorite memory is of him coming to my Toga party in the early/mid 1980's .. it was only weeks after we met.
Rest in peace my friend. You will be missed. I will pay your kindness forward every chance I get.
Love... Jennifer Hyland
