Carlo Zazzarino, 63, of 242 Second Ave., West Haven ascended to peace on Sept. 13, 2007 in The CT. Hospice, Branford with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband for 35 years of Linda Meneo Zazzarino. Mr. Zazzarino was born in Alife, Italy Feb. 15, 1944, son of Mrs. Marianna Capasso Zazzarino of West Haven and the late Pietro Zazzarino. He came to this country in 1958. His profession was in electronics and T.V. repair, but his talents ranged from everything to anything. There was nothing he couldn't or wouldn't do. He was extremely proud to be an Italian and always celebrated his heritage and culture and enjoyed visiting his respected home town of Alife in Caserta. He had a deep passion for music, especially Italian, was a musician, singer and guitarist and loved to play anywhere, anytime, whether among friends and family or at festivals. His musical gifts were bestowed upon his sons and daughter, which always made him extremely proud. He was a man of great pride and respect; kind hearted who deserved the world and more and all he ever wanted was to be sure that everyone he loved had just that. He is and forever will be deeply loved and missed more than words could ever express. He will be deeply missed by his 5 grandchildren who gave him nothing but joy; they were the true love of his life. Carlo was a loving, genuinely sincere and caring man, who loved nothing more than his family. May he rest in peace with our Savior, Jesus Christ and know how loved and remembered he will always be. Besides his wife, he is survived by sons, Alessio Carlo Zazzarino of Milford, Nino F. Zazzarino of West Haven & David Feducia in FL.; his daughters, Angela Izzo & Nina Zazzarino, both of West Haven; a sister, Lisa Valentino of West Haven; and 5 grandchildren, Anthony & Nino Zazzarino Jr.. David Feducia Jr., Valentina & Rocco Izzo. He was predeceased by a sister, Cecelia Zazzarino. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at St. Michael's Church, 29 Wooster Place, Friday morning Sept. 21 at 10:30. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum at Beaverdale, Fitch St., New Haven. The family will receive guests who wish to pay their respects at Carlo's home, 242 Second Ave. West Haven Friday beginning at 3:00 PM

I am so sorry to hear about Carlo's passing. I only wish I had heard about it sooner I would have liked to pay my respects. For the couple of years I had known him he was a special person. We may not have started out on the best of terms but I had come to respect him and look up to him. When I remember him there are 2 things that automatically pop into my mind... #1 cooking him that pasta Fagoli that he ate every day...#2 helping him carry many big screen TV's into the basement and helping him look for the smallest of cracks on the board so he can make the correct repairs...
Again I am very sorry for your loss and am honored to have known him
