Jennie Pastore Fazzone, 103, passed away Feb. 7, 2012 in Hamden Health Care. She was the widow of John A. “Fuzzy” Fazzone and was a former resident of 124 Ramsdell St., New Haven. Born in Waterbury on June 3, 1908, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Assunta Giametti Pastore. She resided at Hamden Health Care for several years. She read the newspaper every morning, enjoyed bingo, scratch lottery games and watching the New York Yankee games on Television. She was married in 1932 to John “Fuzzy” Fazzone, who died in 1985. Together, they traveled to Florida for the winter. She loved cooking and entertaining for family and friends, especially at holiday time. She worked for 25 years at Monarch Laundry in New Haven. She was a member of the Knights of Columbus Women’s League and was a 50 year parishioner of St. Aedan’s Church. She is survived by two sisters, Rose DiPalma of Hamden and Theresa “Patty” Sandella of  New Haven; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, James Pastore and four sisters, Anna Goglia, Diana, Angelina and Lucy Pastore. Funeral from The Celentano Funeral Home, 424 Elm St. (cor. Dwight) New Haven Saturday, Feb. 11th at 9:30. Mass in St. Aedan’s Church at 10:00. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 4 to 8 PM. Interment in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Contributions may be made to The Clelian Adult Day Care Center, 261 Benham St., Hamden, CT 06514 or Hamden Health Care, 1270 Sherman Ave., Hamden, CT 06514.
