Eleanor Viscuso Cavuoti, 84, of 711 Savin Ave., West Haven passed away after a brief illness on Jan. 14, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of Joseph Cavuoti. She was born in New Haven July 27, 1927, daughter of the late Pasquale and Vincenza "Jennie" Viscuso. Mrs. Cavuoti was an avid Yankee fan who loved to watch baseball with her family. Derek Jeter was her idol. She is survived by one daughter, Carol (Paul) Prisco of Orange; one son, Fred J. Cavuoti of West Haven; four grandchildren, Shannon Blackwood, Joseph Cavuoti, Jennifer Prisco and Lisa Marie Prisco; and one great grandchild, Darby Rose Long. She was predeceased by 13 brothers and sisters. Friends may call at The Celentano Funeral Home, 424 Elm St. (cor. Dwight) New Haven Tuesday from 4 to 8 pm and are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Infant Church Wednesday, Jan. 18th at 11:00. Interment in All Saints Cemetery.
